Where are they???
Barely remember my laziness and tedious days where I used to drag me like a lazy bumb from the room to the sofa, patiently waiting for some home delivery contain betingen, missa’a and sheesh taouk (98% times from gazaz)…This last weeks vanished in front of my almond eyes… in fact, days as well as weeks are getting to short…
Been extremely busy with the training, fact that actually pleases me a lot, I even have to study for the evaluations!!!
My Arabic lessons are getting each day more complexes and my social agenda has notes in all pages…
Moving into a new flat also have some negative points, any change makes me nervous, and having so much things to do, at the same time makes me wish the for 48 hours days!!
So far, the Jungle House is good, I can have a room for myself, with a real mattress, and the flat itself is huge!! I didn’t mention my flat mates, Katlin, Leah, and Halima… and soon a dog…
This last flat mate doesn’t exactly make me feel like home, or comfortable, however, and since we live in a democracy, and the Americans are in advantage…. Im going to have a small annoying thing running around the house…
But I have Satellite TV!!! Now im so addicted to MBC 2, MCB4, and also some music channels, just to keep me in to what is eared here…
About my backyard, and so far, the only thing I can say about it is related to the banana trees, yes, I saw bananas!!! Im just waiting for the mangos!!
We have a washing machine, for real!!! A real one!!!
I think we are still getting used to the place, and to each one of us…. I believe that the only time that we met at the same time, the four of us, was in the first flat meeting, scheduled previously!!
This last weekend was fulfilled with events….
2 goodbyes and one birthday party
On Thursday I had too important meeting at the same time, and in different points of Cairo!!
6.30 Ali Taha s farewell Party, in Heliopolis… ok I get there a couple of hours after the schedule… lots of people that I didn’t saw for a long time, all gathered to wish Ali the best in the Nederland’s…. Best Wishes for you, all the good, all the luck and happiness, and I will see you again!!!

8.30 Agneszka birthday party in downtown… oh boy..
I arrived there around 11..oops…
Polish food, Greek dancing, and happy birthday singed in English, Arabic, Romanian, Hungarian, Greek and Portuguese… That was a damn good party!!! By the end of the night I was totally surrender to the Greek music, dancing like a Greek (God!)…

Well, the truth is that even that Greece had kick our ass in the European League, I live surrounded by them, its quite impossible to escape from Nadia, Efigenia, or Kosmas, and now, the Greek team is bigger.. Gosh, where they came from??? Sorry Portugal, but im in minority….
Sunday was a touching day…another trainee said goodbye… Bali, Hungarian but from AIESEC Austria left…. It might been the difficult goodbye so far, for me, not that the other trainees weren’t important to me, but Bali had something in him… something that some people could call rough around the edges, but for me was one of the most genuine and sincere person I have meet, with a certain naiveté… He is just that kind of person that goes straight to the point… I will meet you know where!!!!

About me…
Went shopping…
Shopping in Egypt even in Sales season is not sweet pear (Very Portuguese expression)
The quality\price relation is so, but so….. so far….not mentioning the design...gosh… finding a basic shirt or pants can became an 007 mission!!
And considering that Egypt it’s a Muslim, conservator country, the size of some of the clothes I saw show to much…
Without wanted to seem picky and inflexible, oh..how I miss Zara, Berska, H&M….
And just for not been charged of not getting in to Egypt Spirit, I experienced the Egyptian Style…
Sugaring….
Oh MAMA!!!!!
Didn’t cry like a baby, but surely made the scared and fearful faces that May had ever saw…
Either way, I was starting to feel uncomfortable of been the only women in Egypt with hairs on the arms..
Now, im hairless… and im loving it!!!
